Date Crunch

INGREDIANTS:

  • 8oz Digestive biscuits
  •  3oz stoned dates
  •  3oz butter
  •  2tbsps golden syrup
  •  3oz sultanas
  •  2 x 150g milk chocolate
  1. Line a shallow 7inch tin with foil
  2. Crush biscuits
  3. Chop dates
  4. Heat butter & syrup together until melted
  5. Stir in crushed biscuits/sultanas and dates
  6. Mix well
  7. Spoon into tin
  8. Press tightly with back of spoon
  9. chill for 1hr 10
  10. Melt chocolate, spoon over mixture and chill
